LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Arkansas Rep. Vivian Flowers announced Monday she would be stepping away from state government to run for mayor of Pine Bluff.
Flowers, a Democrat and life-long resident of Pine Bluff, said she has been a consistent voice in the legislature for the people of the Jefferson County city by advocating on issues such as healthcare, education, criminal and social justice, voting rights, and heritage tourism development.
